Los Angeles, CA – January 7, 2025 – The Puzzle Republic, a pioneering network of free jigsaw puzzle libraries, is thrilled to announce its 5th anniversary. Founded on January 26, 2020, by L.A. residents Jessica and Luke Cheney, The Puzzle Republic has grown into a global community dedicated to sharing the joy of puzzling.

 

The concept began with The Puzzle Palace, a repurposed Barbie hotel transformed into a free puzzle library in Los Angeles. This innovative idea has since inspired over 200 more puzzle libraries worldwide, fostering connections and mindfulness through the simple act of exchanging puzzles.

 

“We started The Puzzle Republic to combine our love for puzzles with a desire to give back to the community,” said co-founder Jessica Cheney. “Seeing it grow over the past five years and witnessing the positive impact on fellow puzzlers has been incredibly rewarding.”
